Technology improves every day where virtual reality would be helpful as the next
new media. With virtual reality, you can use holograms or specially design
glasses to see 3D images. This is very beneficial to the gaming world where
images from the games are more realistic. Holograms are very useful when it
comes to clothes and cars where it allows a person to see the image in person. While
virtual reality requires a person to wear 3D glasses, this would improve the
gaming world where you will get more exercises than from the Nintendo Wii. Also,
virtual reality can help a person get over the fear of learning a new language.
A person will be able to learn a new language a lot faster from virtual
reality.
Virtual Reality is a great idea and I believe we are very close to approaching it. I remember watching the Coachella video where Tupac, a deceased rapper, is brought to the stage and it looks absolutely realistic. I was so surprised at how far our technology has gotten and it was also a great image of him. I believe that virtual reality is within grasps for our society today.
ReplyDeleteSome Japanese music group did a whole live show a few years back with a virtual hologram of a fictional character. I like the idea how holograms could be used in the future not only for entertainment purposes, but also for user interaction.
ReplyDeleteHey I really think your idea is great. I believe 3-D technology has come very far and has accomplished many things. We now go out to watch 3-D movies or simply stay home and enjoy the 3-D technology on our televisions. It's not a long time until many companies adopt the 3-D technology and have their websites available in complete 3-d. Everyone will be able to interact via the 3-D technology. It's just a matter of time until 3-D technology settles in because it is fairly new for the time it has hit the market.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I saw Avatar in a movie theatre in 3D. That was amazing and I wish we had more 3D technology. I know we can buy a 3D TV now and i hope this technology will continue to spread, especially like you mentioned in the gaming world.
ReplyDeletepictures and videos are great references to the past, but for our generation it doesn't seem to be enough. Holograms provide close-to-real life portrayals of things we'd never get to see otherwise. Interesting idea.
